This course has been developed to provide the trainee with sufficient team skills to perform most rescues involving rope work.
The following topics will be addressed
- communication and command structure
- team based rope rescue skills
- advanced rigging principles
- pick offs
- stretcher evacuations
- high directionals
- pulley systems
- stretcher scoops
Trainees are required to a pre-course assignment prior to the commencement of the course. Rope Rescue – Beginner Instructor course recommended unless proven prior rope rescue experience.
