Structural Tower Rescue Workshop

This course has been developed to provide the trainee with sufficient team and personal skills to perform most rescues involving towers, cranes and structural supports that require lead climbing to gain access.

Course Content:

  • team and personal rope rescue skills
  • knotcraft
  • belaying
  • anchoring
  • stretcher evacuations
  • pulley systems
  • lowerings
  • stretcher scoops
  • lead climbing on structures

Course Length:

7 days

Entry Requirements:

Trainees are required to a pre-course assignment prior to the commencement of the course. Prior Nationally Competency:

PUASAR022 in the Public Safety Training package required.
